Maria Costello reveals all
Queen of the bikers Maria Costello MBE, has unveiled her new NGK “Pizza bike”bike for the 2016 road racing season. It takes to the road for the first time this weekend at the season’s opener, the Cookstown 100 in Northern Ireland.
The bike is based on a 2009 Kawasaki ER6 engine (tuned) and frame with a 2008 ZX6R forks and 2009 front calipers Nissin & Versys swing arm. It features Wilbers bespoke suspension front and rear. Wheels fitted with race Tyres with EBC pads & discs.
Arata full system with John Hackett mods. Bespoke large RADICOOL radiator, sigma slipper clutch, Bonamechi & Pr1mo Rear sets, quick action throttle, Vieiti clip ons, levers and carbon air duct.
This is all encased by a Stuart Smith ZX6R fairing now wrapped in the new livery featuring her favourite spark plug manufacturer!
Following her first outing at Cookstown, Maria will then be heading onto the Northwest 200 road races followed by the TT later in May. Plus you’ll be able to see the bike close up in the flesh on the NGK pavilion at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June.
